Office Manager, Potchefstroom
Salary R20 000 – R25 000 pm neg depending on quali and experience
Our client with office based in Potchefstroom, operate as a small, integrated team. They are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual to support the day-to-day coordination of key business functions within our Support Centre.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, small-business environment and enjoys working across multiple areas. The successful candidate will support administrative processes, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the efficient execution of routine financial, compliance, and operational activities.
The position is well suited to an individual with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, an affinity for numbers, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow. It offers broad exposure to financial administration, HR processes, knowledge base management, client administration, and commercial support.
Requirements:
BCom degree (with modules in HR, Accounting, Commercial Law \u2013 advantageous).
2-4 years\u2019 relevant experience in below duties.
Strong computer skills.
Currently residing in Potchefstroom with own vehicle and valid driver\u2019s license.
Candidate must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English both written and verbal (not negotiable).
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Support financial administration, including tax record keeping, reporting, and banking processes.
Assist with risk management and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate procurement activities, supplier engagements, and contract administration.
Oversee payroll support and contribute to accurate employee compensation processes.
Support operational efficiency through process coordination and compliance monitoring.
Assist with HR functions, including recruitment and on-boarding.
Contribute to HR policy implementation and alignment with BEE and POPIA requirements.
Coordinate training and development initiatives to support workforce capability.
Support IT systems, digital platforms, and data protection compliance.
Assist with legal and compliance processes, including contract management and audit preparation.
